Let's dance like crystal gems!

This was just made as an exchange to Moira, who surprised me with her pic of Hazel, Tintin, and my OCs Anna, Margret, and Angeline!

It was quite a big day for Maren, Courtney, Eilonwy, Yvonne, and Katy. They are to perform a spectacular dance routine at the Heroic Academy Spring Show Spectacular. Each group was assigned a theme for their own special dance routine that will blow the audience away. For their performance, the girls were asked to perform a dance routine inspired by Steven Universe.

"Wow! We're going to perform a dance routine inspired by Steven Universe?" Katy exclaimed. "This is so exciting!"

"But what dance moves should we incorporate into our performance?" Courtney asked. "I haven't watched Steven Universe before, so I'm not sure what dance we should use."

Yvonne lit up. "I know!" she said, heading to the computer. "Why don't we look up clips from Steven Universe and watch them so we can get an idea of what kind of performance we should do?" "Good idea!" Maren said.

Soon, the girls all began to binge watch every known Steven Universe video that involved dancing. What really got their attention was the fusion dances that were featured. Soon enough, they started gathering ideas.

"We should try using Pearl and Amethyst's fusion dance in our routine!" Courtney suggested.

"Wait! How about the Crystal Gems' fusion dance when they form Alexandrite?" Maren asked.

"I think I'd prefer Garnet and Amethyst's fusion dance as they form Sugilite," Eilonwy piped up.

"Why not use Pearl and Rose's fusion dance for Rainbow Quartz?" Yvonne asked.

"We should do Garnet and Pearl's fusion dance for Sardonyx!" Katy chimed in.

These girls were so full of ideas, they couldn't decide on a single dance routine! "I have an idea!" Eilonwy exclaimed. "Why don't we pick something that we can all agree on?" "Sure! That could work!" Maren said. Then, they huddled together to discuss their idea...

On the day of the Heroic Academy Spring Show Spectacular, the girls peeped from behind the curtains as they watched the other groups perform. They were next in line to perform. The girls all wore pretty Crystal Gem-inspired dancing costumes. Maren got a garnet-style costume, Courtney's costume was emerald, Eilonwy chose a lovely rose quartz costume, Yvonne went with an amethyst design, and Katy mixed her sapphire gem with lots of red and blue.

And they finally agreed on a dance routine: their performance would incorporate Steven and Connie's dance in "Alone Together", with a touch of Pearl and Garnet's fusion dance from "Cry for Help". They also agreed to mix it with their own dance moves as well.

"This performance is sure to blow everyone away!" Yvonne exclaimed. "Our crystal gem costumes look so cute!" Eilonwy told everyone. "Just hope we don't make any mistakes!" Katy said.

As soon as thei names were announced, the girls traipsed onto the stage, where the backdrop was conveniently changed to one that looked like the top view of Lapis Lazuli's water tower in space. As a medley of Steven Universe songs began to play, the girls began to dance their hearts out, wowing the audience with their mad dancing skills.
